Tammy's Bio
Tammy Fisher is an Enrolled Agent and the owner of Balancing Act Small Business Services in Brownwood, Texas. She started Balancing Act in 2021 after a lengthy career as a full-charge bookkeeper and operations manager of small businesses. She offers her expertise in accounting, tax, and business management to solo professionals and small business owners locally and across the US. Her passion is playing a supporting role in the growth and success of her clients’ businesses. With the tagline “Xanax for your financial & business anxieties,” Tammy eases her clients’ fears and worries about their books, their taxes and everything business related. Tammy is a native Texan, married 37 years to the love of her life. They have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren – ages 16, 10 and 5. She makes no secret that the grandkids live with her and Mr. Fisher; they call it “re-parenting” and say it keeps them young. The little one is autistic; special needs advocacy is another of Tammy’s passions – along with reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling. Of her family, she says, “This is my circus, they are my monkeys.” When it comes to business, her mantras are, “Everything is figureoutable” and “You get what you give.” Tammy believes in putting good into the world and in being of service to others above all else.
