    OSHCON; What is OSHCON? 

    It is a free and confidential on-site Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCON) program designed to assist small business employers to better understand and comply with their responsibilities under the OSHA law.

    Learning Objectives:

    Discuss OSHCON on-site consultation services and the opportunities to better assist employers comply with OSHA regulations

    Discuss OSHA required written Programs

    Discuss the importance of a safety program  

       

    Presenter, Kathleen Franklin is an employee of the Texas Dept. of Insurance, Workplace Safety, OSHCON.  She has a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and is working toward a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) certification.  She has 21 years of safety experience through the United States Air Force and three years of safety consultation experience with OSHCON.  She also provides informal training to clients and conducts speaking engagements for companies and organizations on a variety of topics on OSHA standards.
